Nice selection of words. It seems like some or all of them are appealing aesthetically (pleasing to the eye in print or on screen) and orally, as well as because of the meaning behind them.
I feel like an idiot (one of my favorite words, only when I am behind the wheel) because I have to look in the dictionary for most of them but they do sound good. Too bad that people don't use these words on a daily basis. They say it's good to study a few words in the dictionary daily. I may start doing that. The only problem with knowing words that are not used in spoken language is that you don't get to use them, so it is like learning a language that you don't practice.
